This 42-page report, produced in partnership with Nexus Technologies and based on a survey of 537 industrial companies across 12 industries, provides the most comprehensive assessment of digital maturity in the manufacturing sector to date. Key findings include that only 23% of industrial companies have achieved enterprise-wide digital integration, while 41% remain in the "pilot purgatory" phase — running isolated digital initiatives that have not scaled beyond individual facilities or functions. The report introduces a Digital Maturity Index that allows organizations to benchmark their progress against industry peers and identify the capabilities most strongly correlated with financial outperformance.
